The linq hotel and casino tripadvisor

I stayed in The Linq for 5 nights in January having booked the break back in April 2015. The only fault with the room was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities although there was a small fridge for water. The shower was hot and powerful with plenty of room to get washed. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows and the room was cleaned with the beds remade every day. I was in a queen bed high roller room which was lovely. We all went up to our rooms which were on different floors and were a complete nightmare to locate at first as it wasn't very well signposted. We were told that the holding fee would be refunded immediately upon check out.

We had paid over £3,000 to stay there and so we had no choice but to pay. This deposit was not mentioned when booking the rooms via their website and the receptionist dealing with us even confirmed that it's not displayed anywhere. When we got to the desk we were shocked to learn that we had to then pay a room deposit of $250 per room on top of the $70 per person hotel tax. On arrival the hotel and casino looked amazing and after a long 11 hour flight myself and my group of 5 friends were looking forward to a speedy check in and going to our rooms to unpack and freshen up.
